Fans were excited when the “Cruel Summer” singer and her boyfriend Travis Kelce showed their love at the Jan. 28 AFC Championship game. They said, “I love yous” and kissed after the Kansas City Chiefs made it to the Super Bowl.
But Taylor’s support for the NFL player didn’t end with their hug. At the game, she also flashed a ring with a picture of his “87” shirt on it.
The ring was actually given to her by Travis’s mom, Donna Kelce. It’s clear now that she is happy to have Taylor join the Kelce family.
“We gave Donna some pairs as a gift,” jeweler Emily Bordner told KMBC on January 29. “We knew she liked our earrings.” So, we wanted to give her even more things with a Kelce theme.”
In fact, the owner of EB and Co. almost planned the whole thing when she gave Donna the package.
“We sent those to her and then we were hoping that she would give them to Taylor,” she said. “And she did.”
With her signature red lip and another special piece of jewelry, Taylor, 34, wore the “87” ring. It was a handmade diamond friendship bracelet that said “TNT” to honor their initials.
Supporters also believe that Travis, 34, gave her another important item by giving her his title hat after the game, since she was seen celebrating the Chiefs’ win while wearing it.
It looks like Taylor and Travis will always be there for each other. The “Karma” singer might even be going straight from her show in Tokyo on February 10 as part of the Eras Tour to be with Travis at the Super Bowl on February 11.
After dating since the summer of 2023, this would be her 13th NFL game since they started going out together.
And even though Travis won’t be able to go to the 2024 Grammys with her, the two have made it clear how much they value being there for each other.
She told TIME in December, “I’m going to see him do what he loves, and we’re going to be there for each other.” “We’re just proud of each other.”
