According to reports, Doja Cat’s mother has filed for a temporary restraining order against her son, Raman Dlamini claiming that he has physically abused Doja.
Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer, Doja’s mother claims Raman Dalithando Dlamini knocked Doja Cat’s front teeth out and gave her cuts and bruises. He has also made Doja feel unsafe and traumatized and threatened to kill her.
Sawyer wrote in a petition filed on Jan 12 in Los Angeles Superior Court alleging her son, Raman Dalithando Dlamini, knocked the singer’s teeth out. Sawyer adds that Doja needs protection against Raman after he gave her a series of cuts and bruises. He has verbally assaulted her in a very degrading and demeaning manner. sawyer wrote in the petition that she has fear and constant anxiety for her safety and well-being.
Sawyer said that the most recent abuse happened on Jan 10 when Raman blocked her from entering her home. She said her 13-year-old grandson had witnessed some of the alleged abuse and requested that he be included in her restraining order.
Judge granted Sawyer’s request for protection, pending a hearing for a permanent restraining order, but did not extend that protection to Doja stating she would need to file for an order separately.
However, at this time, Doja Cat has not yet publicly remarked on the filing nor her mother’s allegations.
