One of the most popular shows all around the world, WWE will be streamed on Netflix from 2025.
Netflix with TKO Group announced on Tuesday that WWE Raw will stream on Netflix from next year January 2025. The deal between Netflix and WWE has a 10-year term for an aggregate rights fee in excess of 5 billion Dollars. The show will be streamed in the US, Canada, UK, and Latin America every single week.
WWE President Nick Khan, in an interview, said we believe Netflix, as one of the world’s leading entertainment brands, is the ideal long-term home for Raw’s live, fan base.
Mark Shapiro, TKO president said, this is a super game changer, this deal is transformative. he also said that Netflix and WWE will make documentaries on players. According to him, the deal expands the reach of WWE.
Hollywood’s most popular actor and WWE star Dwayne Johnson has joined the Board of Directors of TKO Group. As per sources, he will receive over 30 million dollars in TKO stock.
Johnson on being part of the Board of Directors of TKO Group said, my grandfather Peter Maivia, and my dad, Rocky Soulman Johnson, would’ve never thought this day would come.
