Ja Rule Left out Off Billboard Top 50 greatest Rappers List

Rapper, Ja Rule has several albums, multiplatinum singles, and has sold 30 million records worldwide.

At The Tamron Hall Show this week, Ja claimed that it is “statistically impossible” for him to not be considered a top 50 rapper of all time. He was annoyed that Billboard left him off their viral list.

Ja Rule said congrats to everyone on the list, but these lists, they’re meaningless because music is subjective. You like who you want to like, you know everybody has their own favorite artist, but my thing was that this is a list comprised by Billboard. They do statistics and numbers, if I’m not mistaken.

Ja Rule signed with Murder Inc Records to release his first album Venni Vetti Vecci in the year 1999. His first single was “Holla Holla. His career marked two Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles and sold over 30 million records. His hit songs, include “I’m Real,” “Always on Time,” “Mesmerize,” and “New York. Ja has been influential in the hip-hop music industry, in the late ’90s.

In February Ja Rule, Nelly, Ashanti, Lil Kim, and Lumidee are set to bring a concert tour to FedExForum, announced on Wednesday. Tickets are now available for sale.
